Following a quick centering practice, we then have an honest, open, and safe conversation about absolutely anything the group wants to discuss. And I mean literally anything.
Our topic could be theological. What does the word “God” even mean these days? Do we really believe the bible is the actual Word of God? Why is there so much suffering in the world? Is Christianity the only true religion? How do I reconcile my faith with science?
Our topic could be cultural. How should Christians think about politics? What about social issues like racism, sexism, homophobia, and the environmental crises?
Or, it could be personal or experiential. Maybe someone is struggling with anxiety, loneliness, stress, or depression and just needs to process what they are going through.
